In early November 2008, US Marshals in Tampa Bay, District of Middle Florida, received information concerning the possible presence on their territory of the couple Flotvelyne Jean-Louis and Casy Pierre Mesidor. The authorities subsequently validated the information by consulting the Website of the 10 Most Wanted Criminals in Québec. They contacted Interpol and the Montréal city police, in charge of the investigation, to obtain more information regarding the case. A police operation led to the arrest on November 7, 2008 of the two suspects. They were extradited on November 13, 2008 and appeared at the Montréal courthouse the following day on charges of murder.
