In the early 2000s, Parthasarathie Kapoor settled in Montréal and started an import-export company under the name of Kapoor Garments. He quickly joined religious groups in the Asian communities and took advantage of his contact with families with children to sexually assault several boys 5 to 13 years of age. Kapoor was in the habit of filming himself while sexually assaulting his victims, and he would threaten to show the videos to their families if the victims did not continue to have sexual relations with him.
Parthasarathie Kapoor is a citizen of India who travels the world. The members of his family and his friends are scattered in several countries throughout the world, including Canada and the United States. He travelled using a counterfeit Canadian passport and visited India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Russia, Canada (Ontario and Québec) and the United States (New Jersey, California, Texas and New York).
Parthasarathie Kapoor is aware that he is wanted, and he avoided being arrested in Canada after he was warned by a relative of one of his victims. He allegedly fled to the United States and went to India. However, he was seen again in Montréal about six months later. He is facing charges in connection with three victims but is suspected of having sexually assaulted several other children. He could pose a threat to other children.
