History

In 1991, while escaping from lawful custody, Kevin Smith killed his accessory at the time, whose last name was Crawford, with a firearm. He then left his body in a field. He was later arrested and, on October 18, 1991, he pleaded guilty to a charge of second degree murder. He was sentenced to imprisonment for life.

On or around October 9, 2007, Kevin Smith escaped from Montée Saint-François, in Laval, in the company of Patrick James Wallace. On October 11, 2007, warrants were issued regarding the two men. Kevin Smith is wanted for escaping from lawful custody. Note that he is originally from the Eastern Townships.
